Explorer Post 300 Explorer Post 300 is a youth program sponsored by Boy Scouts of America, and consists of male and female members age 14-21 as well as Deputies who act as advisors. Explorers perform a wide variety of community service projects. These projects include sports and fair events, games, community fingerprinting, and office work.. In addition they ride with patrol deputies as observers. This program is an oportunity for young adults interested in the law enforcement field as a career to get hands on training and experience in nearly all facets of the business. Also central to the mission of the explorer program is charchter building, leadership cultivation, and llife skills training. And make no mistake....we have a lot of fun as well!! The program is open to any young man or young lady that is 14 years old up to 21 years old who has completed the 8th grade and is willing to conform to the lifestyle that is neccessary to become a law enforcement officer. |
