Front Office Staff

     Office personnel consist of one sworn Sergeant, the Sheriff’s administrative assistant, one Processing Supervisor, and one part-time clerical worker. These civilian office personnel are responsible for keeping statistics, gun permit sales, employment related fingerprinting, sex offender registrations, report validations, and many other tasks.  Most front office personnel are DCI certified and must keep their certifications up to date through trainings, conferences, and recertification tests.  These dedicated personnel are usually the first contact the public has with the Haywood County Sheriff’s Office when they come to the Haywood County Law Enforcement Center.
