Haywood County Law Enforcement Center

The 57,000 square foot state of the art Law Enforcement Center houses the Haywood County Sheriff’s Office, Criminal Magistrate’s Office, Communications, and The Detention Center.   With the combined services, security and efficiency are maximized by the facility located at 1620 Brown Avenue, Waynesville, NC.

The Haywood County Law Enforcement Center opened in 2006 and was a considerable improvement to prior facilities.  The facility boasts up to date electronic security access control, and surveillance systems. These technologies provide a safe and secure Detention facility contributing to the well being of the inmates, a safe work environment for staff, as well as the protection of the public.
